Designing is yet another sector creating a niche in itself. Apart from interior and fashion designers, the demand for industrial designers is rapidly growing. Industrial designers are ones who design various products, style the packaging and ensure the quality and safety of various products. They combine their creativity along with business sense and engineering techniques.
Sales and Marketing
This is one sector that is always going to grow no matter what. The need for higher sales and effective marketing is never ending, and hence employment in this industry is insatiable. However, the need for smart individuals who have that extra something apart from their degrees is obviously much greater. The growth is immense for someone who can go beyond degrees and think out of the box.
Software and Information Technology
Although the IT industry did face a setback in early 2009 due to recession, by the end of the year it was fast picking up and is projected to have a rapid growth in the coming years. With computers and software programs ruling almost every sector of human existence, the need for software engineers, programmers, computer system analysts, developers, information technology professionals and others is going to be high. Irrespective of the global slowdown, software and information technology is definitely ranked one of the fastest growing industries in the coming years.
