Networking made easy - tips for a quick, successful job search
You have already heard at least 80% of all jobs are found through the "hidden" labor market, also known as "unpublished" job market. These jobs are typically landed through word of mouth and recommendations as to the hit-or-against-miss method of answering ads, posting to your resume to internet databases, or other techniques, the remaining 20% of all jobs in the target Market published.
It stands to reason that if the vast majority of jobs are foundin this hidden market, that you spend most of your job search time at work to crack it. But, as you may already be established, access to the hidden job market requires that you take responsibility for the search, reaching out and building strategic relationships, pro-active initiative and make yourself visible in the right circles.
